Great unique drink menu that is really different than the surrounding bars and restaurants. Tacos were hardy and tasted great, as was the corn and Brussels. Wish I lived closer because this would be a frequent stop for me. Will definitely hit it on my future trips to Columbus!

Stumbled into a gem! Stopped in for lunch, saw the sign for tacos. Everything was tasty! I had the Ya mon and mom got the Italian sausage smashed taco. And the Mac and cheese Everyone managers and servers were super friendly and the vibe was awesome. We'll definitely be back during my visit.

We came for a bachelorette on a Thursday night & the hostess was quick to seat us. I think there were 8 of us. For the table, we ordered the EPIC Pick 3 Dips with red salsa, queso, and guacamole. All were delicious -- a lot of chips too! For myself, I got The Crown Jewel & The Gangsta from the EPIC tacos. The Gangsta was, indeed, epic. The Crown Jewel on the other hand......... let's just say I did not think it was epic (at least my stomach didn't). Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. It was very vibrant and the decor was exotic! I would go again for the dips & the gangsta!

Walked over while staying at the Hampton. Was seated on a Friday night within minutes. Started with the pineapple jalapeño margarita. It was definitely spicy, but I loved it. Husband ordered tbe Epix margarita and it definitely had some kick of tequila to it. Start off with the trio, appetizer of queso, queso with chorizo, and salsa Verde. Great portions and variety. I ordered the Return of the Mac (a spin-off of the Big Mac) and thought it was really good. I don't usually do tacos, but this was definitely a change to the norm. My husband ordered the NY Pizza Pie and The Gangta (second was recommended by our waitress). The waitress gave us her opinion on the NY pizza taco and he should have followed it because he wasn't a big fan. Loved the Gangsta! Our waitress was amazing and service was great. We would definitely return of staying at this hotel again.

I'm a little conflicted on my feelings about A&R. There were tons of positives to mention about my experience, but there were also some pretty prominent negatives. I'll start with the positives. TL;DR - most everything was fabulous aside from the service/staff. Location - GREAT! Very convenient and within walking distance of several hotels. Decor/Vibes - OMG! I loved how beautiful it was in here. The artwork, the chandeliers, the dinnerware and glasses. Everything was gorgeous! Drinks - I had the Jalapeno Pineapple Marg and it was good!! It was sweet, but the the spice from the jalapeno was a nice balance with the agave and pineapple. My colleague ordered another margarita and thought it was too sweet, which is totally preference. The agave is obviously a sweet addition, so just keep this in mind! Food - Awesome! The tacos are legendary for a reason. The Birria options are especially unique and tasty. My friend got chicken and raved over them! I really enjoyed my "Epic Tacos", too. I got the Gangsta and the Swipe Right. They were HUGE and tasty. I also LOVED the queso and salsa. The salsa was chunky and fresh, unlike any I've ever had. Prices - it's a little pricey, but the portion sizes are large ($8+ for a taco, but I think it was worth it!) Service - I think this is where they fell really flat. Look, I am super easy going and understanding. I still was in this situation, but there were just several little things that added up. It wasn't very busy when we went, but it took about 15 minutes or more to be sat. Our waiter was nice, but several things were forgotten and missed. It could have just been an off day. But overall, the staff just wasn't super friendly or efficient. I'm not sure what was going on, but it was really off putting. All this to say, check out A&R! The food and decor are well worth the trip, but maybe this location or this day was just struggling.

I have eaten at Agave & Rye so many times at their various location that it's become an absolute travesty I haven't written a review yet. What am I doing? What am I thinking? What I'm doing - eating the various birria style tacos at a concerning pace What I'm thinking - DAMN, THESE ARE GOOD! Look, Agave & Rye isn't authentic. I've seen it played out in numerous Reddit forums that they're not the real deal. But guess what? I'm in the Midwest. Why would I look for Al pastor street tacos carved off a trompos? Yes, it'd be absolutely fabulous if I found it, but I live in Ohio. I'm just aiming for delicious. I've had a few of their apps, but I always come back to the dip sampler. I will never turn down guac or salsa, and the queso is pure crack. I'm not even a queso person (gasp!) and yet I'm *that* bish at the table that hordes 3/4 of the shared serving to herself. Agave & Rye has an extensive taco menu, but I stick to birria. One, because birria is my go to no matter what menu, but two, I think it's because it's the best deal. While their singular taco concoctions are delicious and unique, paying nearly $10 for a singular taco is highway robbery. It's the same issue I have with Condado. The birria tacos, however, come in packs of three for about $14. I've tried their newer flavors, but I always come back to the original. A pound (my estimate) of cheese, slow cooked beef, and a flavorful consume is one few things that I will never say no to. I'm proud of my friends at Agave & Rye. They're expanding to other cities, and they've even opened a steakhouse in Liberty Township! If you do not currently reside near an Agave & Rye, I hope one moves next to you soon so you can also experience the food that melts this icy, picky for Tex-Mex girlie's heart.

It was our first time coming here and we were excited to try it and see the cool restaurant and eat the yummy foods. The available parking seemed to be street parking and it was a bit difficult to find space. There are surrounding garages that you can park in and walk. The restaurant was cool, decorated in lots of colors, lights, and very fun. We got Birria Tacos, the Grilled Birria Burrito, and Birria Irish Nachos. The tacos and burrito were delicious! They were a bit greasy, but expected. Balanced flavor, hardiness, meaty, and filling, and I loved the broth, I thought it was flavorful and seasoned well. The burrito alone is a bit heavy, but adding the salsa and sour cream was a good touch. The entrees are made well! The Birria Irish Nachos are actually fries, not chips. I really liked this appetizer that could be a meal alone. It was a good balance of salty, sweet, crispy, and soft. Our server actually recommended the Birria dishes and we ordered them all. Our server was fantastic, fun, and attentive. We were taken care of and our server made sure to explain the menu and was so nice! Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and restaurant. I think the food was good and I think overall, I would come back and try other dishes and maybe, drinks. I wish parking was better and the location wasn't so out of the way.
